Quantum Xchange, delivering the future of encryption with its industry-leading key distribution platform, has entered into a strategic partnership with Spire Solutions, a leading value-added distributor and preferred cybersecurity solutions provider serving the Middle East and Africa. Spire’s customers, partners and prospects will benefit from access to Phio Trusted Xchange (TX), the Quantum Xchange out-of-band key delivery system that enables users to maintain the security of their data and communications networks; overcome the vulnerabilities of current encryption techniques, for example, keys and data traveling together; and protect yourself from man in the middle, harvest, and future quantum attacks.

Quantum Xchange’s Phio TX acts as a simple architectural overlay that works in tandem with conventional encryption systems and any TCP / IP connection (wireless, copper, satellite, fiber) to decouple key generation and delivery from transmissions of data. With Phio TX, a second quantically enhanced encryption key is sent out of band through a separate quantum protected tunnel and mesh network to multiple transmission points. Continuous key rotation takes place with each transfer, further enhancing system security.

Spire Solutions Founder and Chairman Sanjeev Walia said, “We are in the early stages of the biggest migration in IT history as nearly every organization around the world will need to update and migrate their encryption. legacy to new quantum security standards. .

“Quantum Xchange’s unique technology significantly alleviates this burden, delivering an affordable and dynamic next-generation key distribution architecture for enhanced data security today and quantum protection against future threats. We are delighted to have QXC as a partner and to add Phio TX to our portfolio of the world’s best security products and services.

Phio TX embraces crypto agility, supporting quantum keys generated from any source i.e. Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) or a combination, and all candidate post-quantum cryptographic key (PQC) encapsulation algorithms under evaluation by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) expected to be standardized in 2022.

The FIPS validated network security appliance also meets the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) protocol for QKD. With Phio TX, users can get started with PQC and then easily upgrade to QKD levels of protection without disrupting their underlying infrastructure and without disrupting the network.

Quantum Xchange will join Spire Solutions booth H1 A120 at # LEAP22, the world’s leading platform for professionals in the most disruptive technologies to be held at the Riyadh Front Expo Center in Saudi Arabia from February 1-3, 2022.
